Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android version of Building Service Tycoon (the “Game”). The developer of Building Service Tycoon is responsible for the Game's processing of personal data. You can contact us at westpoland@gmail.com.
The Game does not require you to create an account. Core game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. However, the services used for purchases, advertising, analytics, and app reliability may process the information described below.
1. Information that may be processed
- Device and technical data: device model, operating system and app version, language, approximate location derived from IP address, IP address, network information, device or app-instance identifiers, and advertising identifiers where permitted.
- Game and advertising activity: app launches, session and interaction data, ad requests, impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion, consent choices, and related measurement data.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, performance data, error logs, and technical events used to keep the Game stable.
- Purchase data: the product purchased, price and currency, transaction or order identifier, purchase status, date, and receipt or purchase token. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
- Support communications: your email address and any information or attachments you choose to send when contacting support.
2. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- operate the Game, save settings, and provide requested functionality;
- process, verify, restore, and prevent fraud involving in-app purchases;
- show, personalize where permitted, limit, and measure advertising;
- understand use of the Game, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and develop updates;
- respond to support and privacy requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect users, the Game, and our rights.
3. Android services and third parties
The Android version of the Game uses or may use the following services:
- Google Play Billing processes in-app purchases through Google Play. Payment and Google Account information is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase supports analytics, diagnostics, performance, reliability, or other app functionality. The data processed depends on the Firebase features enabled in the Game. Learn more in Privacy and Security in Firebase.
- Google AdMob supplies and measures advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, app activity, and ad interactions. See the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob policies.
- Unity LevelPlay provides advertising mediation and may connect the Game with Unity and other ad-network partners. These partners may process device, advertising, usage, and ad-interaction data under their own policies. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
These providers may act as our service providers or as independent data controllers, depending on the service and context. Their collection, use, retention, and disclosure of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The advertising networks actually used may vary by country, device, consent status, and ad availability.
4. Personalized advertising and your choices
Where required by law, the Game or its providers will ask for consent before using advertising identifiers or showing personalized ads. If you decline, you may still see contextual or non-personalized ads. You can review or reset your Android advertising settings and manage Google's ad personalization in My Ad Center. Available controls depend on your device, Android version, and region.
5. Legal bases
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction apply, we rely on: performance of a contract to provide the Game and purchases; your consent for personalized advertising or similar technologies where required; legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Game; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time through the available in-game, device, or provider controls without affecting processing already carried out.
6. Sharing and international transfers
Information may be disclosed to the service providers listed above, to professional advisers or authorities where legally required, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data for money. Some privacy laws may define certain personalized advertising disclosures as “sharing” or a “sale”; where applicable, you can use the consent and device controls described above or contact us.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are protected using recognized safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses.
7. Data retention and security
We retain support communications, purchase records, and other data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting duties. Third-party providers apply their own retention periods. Local game data remains on your device until you reset the Game's progress, clear its app data, or uninstall it, subject to Android or device backup settings.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. For data controlled directly by Google, Unity, or another advertising partner, use that provider's privacy controls or contact the provider directly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page and identified by its effective date.
